Plastic products such as plastic nuts or screws offer a large number of advantages, e.g. electric insulation, low weight, elasticity, tenacity as well as resistance to abrasion, corrosion, chemicals and athmospheric influence. Moreover, the colour of plastic products can be adapted to the final product. Values reported on the schedule are referred to data given by row materials producers resulting from tests on samples. As regards final products these values have to be verified. |
Polyamide PA 6/6.6 Excellent mechanical properties with respect to tensile strenght, resistance to fatigue, shock, friction and wear. Polyamide PA 6/6.6 GF As compared with PA 6 and PA 6.6 respectively, the following properties have been improved: mechanical behaviour in case of traction and bending (lower shock value), thermal behaviour. High density polyethylene HD PE Excellent electric insulation (low loss factor) high resistance to deformation, suitable for foodstuffs, low coefficient of friction. Polyacetal POM Good resistance to chemicals, good mechanical properties (resistance to fatigue). Excellent log-term dimension stability, not sensitive to mould fungus and storage in the earth. |
